Fourth-place finishes at 34 & East Moline highlight Denning's weekend
Sterling, Illinois' Travis Denning returned to competition over the weekend, notching a pair of top-five finishes during events in Iowa and Illinois.
On Saturday, Denning impressed during McClure Materials Night at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa, charging from ninth to fourth in the feature after a solid heat race performance.
He carried that momentum into Sunday at East Moline Speedway, just across the Iowa-Illinois border, where he again advanced from mid-pack—this time driving from 10th to fourth in the 25-lap main event.
