Runner-up finish for Travis Denning at East Moline

A doubleheader weekend across Illinois and Iowa netted a pair of top-10 finishes for Travis Denning.

On Saturday at Maquoketa Speedway, Denning advanced from seventh to second in his heat race, earning a spot into the feature. He started from the fourth row via the invert and turned in a steady performance, finishing eighth.

Denning followed up on Sunday at East Moline Speedway with another strong outing. After placing sixth in his heat, he charged forward four positions in the main event to claim the runner-up spot. He joined race winner Logan Veloz and third-place finisher Dustin Smith on the podium.
